Are you ready for Cosmania?
By : UnknownYo, what's up? It's me, again. Your one and only Senpai and I'm back to ask if you'll be attending the Cosplay Mania this upcoming October 4-5, 2014 at the SMX Convention Centre. Then let's get started. First, let me ask, will it be your first time attending a con or are you a long-time patron of events? What will be your role attending the convention? Will it be as Cosplayer? Con-goer? Photographer? So let's get this thing under way. Let me tell you what are some of the proper etiquette during conventions.
No matter what you'll be doing, here are some con etiquettes and unspoken rules during conventions that you need to remember.
No matter what you'll be doing, here are some con etiquettes and unspoken rules during conventions that you need to remember.
- Cosplay is not Consent
Here we are. One of most overlooked unspoken rule during events. It is not allowed to touch Cosplayers without their consent. Just because a Cosplayer is wearing a revealing outfit, does not give you permission to harassed them. Most Cosplayers are willing to go the extra mile, in order to be accurate with the character they're portraying. Learn to appreciate aesthetics and sophistry.
- Do not Litter
- Never Discriminate
One of the most controversial topics during events. Never discriminate against another person. Don't judge someone based on what you want to see. Don't insult another person's hard work. If you think you are better than someone else then keep it to yourself. Always remember, YOU are not perfect.
- Keep Proper Decorum
- Be Mindful of your Belongings
- Have FUN
Well, that's about what I can share. Remember this tips and your experience will surely be something to remember. Always have fun but keep yourself in moderation.
Memoirs of a Hunter
By : Unknown
In every event, there will be cosplayers, normal con-goers, celebrities, and
definitely, there will be HUNTERS, roaming around the event area. These sets of
people, more precisely, do have the same reason why they go to every event. It
is because they want to have fun with those who has the same interest in the
things they love to do.
I’m
Dhen, also known as Dhen Chan. I’ve been through a lot of events, and I would
say that each event has its own spice that makes it memorable to each one of
us. It could be because of your new set of friends, or because you are with the
person you like, or maybe, your senpai noticed
you. ( That would be awesome, right? )
Well anyways, whatever the reason, that special moment
leaves a mark in your memory and you will be smiling while remembering that
special day. (Did you just remember something?) :)
As
for me, of course I do. That’s the reason why I wanted to write it on our blog.
I wanted to share with you, guys, what happened on that day.
It
happened 5 months ago. If your memory is good, yes, you’re right. It’s during
TAGCOM. Due to my hectic schedule during summer break, I didn’t manage to go on
the second day of that event. Nevertheless, I enjoyed a lot on the first day of
TAGCOM. The experience of being a crossdresser is a lot of fun. Even though I
looked like a freaking gangster, I enjoyed mingling with my colleagues.
Hours
before it ended, was the most exciting part. We were so tired of standing and
walking around the whole day. And so, we found ourselves sitting on the tiled
floor of the mall.
The funny thing is, we still manage to play the blindfold
game. We were so noisy. I was the ringleader of that game and I’m glad that I
did it because it brought a lot of fun for us,
plus an extra bit of energy for each member. As we play, I could see the other con-goers
watching us with a smile on their faces.
Some of them even joined our crazy game. It was so fun that I couldn’t even get
it out of my head. That was the best thing about being a hunter. You gained
friends, you collected wonderful memories, and you’ll be able to smile like
nothing’s wrong with the world.
For those otakus who keeps on supporting us, we would like
to meet you on the next events to come. Let us continue to fill up our minds
with happy and unforgettable memories that, surely we would enjoy reminiscing
as we grow older.
Hello I'm the Niichan of the group
By : Unknown
Hello guys ^_^ I'm Aj Claj. Nice to meet you all. And this will be my introduction post. First of all I'm really a lucky guy to have a group like this. I can't explain it with words but I can smile to show that I'm really lucky to have them. Since I'm always in kirito mode (Loner/Solo) every event. I am so thankful to be a part of this wonderful group.
As we innovate ourselves to share with the world how awesome the events in the Philippines are, and how enjoyable it is. We decided to create a blog to share our opinions, thoughts, and experiences towards every event we attend here in the Philippines.
We already have a Facebook page and a Youtube account. Soon we will also have a Twitter account for those who really love twitter.
And the magic of our logo is you can read the Pch even if you rotate it.
I also act as the leader of the group because, sad to say, but yes I am the eldest in the group >3< and I suck in English so sorry for le poor grammar, guys. Still I am trying my best to speak in English for our blog. So until we meet again guys ^_^. See you on my next post :D

Anyway this is our new logo, and I am delighted that we have the unity to use it as our cover photo in Facebook. We helped each other to create it.
And the magic of our logo is you can read the Pch even if you rotate it.
It's an ambigram, or a perfect ambigram because even if it's rotated nothing changes at all. Yes some of the color changes because of the shadow but nonetheless the edges, corners, or shape remain the same.
I got the idea last time when I stayed over at Charlon's place, I slept early and woke up with an unknown feeling, so I check the clock and I was shock that only an hour has passed. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I didn't know why so I started thinking to myself. When suddenly the idea for our logo popped up in my mind. After they woke up I told them and they got my idea. Dhen and Milan tried making it more readable and presentable. Eventually Milan's design was used.

My Best of Anime Experience
By : Unknown
Oh, hello there. It's me again. Your Senpai. The 2014 Best of Anime is over and now it's time I tell you my thoughts and break down everything that happened. Sounds great? Yeah, let's do this.
- Day 1
For starters, let's talk about the no-ticket, no-entry policy that never came to fruition. Let's get real here, that would be really hard to implement, especially when your having another event in the same venue. People have their own ways of entering the SMX Convention Centre. Let's not get into details but let's just say that being a hunter has it's priviledges. Well, I don't really know. It was just my observation during the event, people will always find a way. Let's not dwell on it too much. The event went under way without a hitch. There was an absence of a large crowd thanks to the aforementioned policy but, it was enjoyable nonetheless. What we expected was a full-packed, hot function room but what we got was a spacious and cold one instead, it was great. Of course there was a part of me that was lonely since it was not as lively as I thought it would be but a part of me was also grateful since there were no rowdy people that take up too much space.
On to the event proper. Honestly, I don't know what to tell you since I didn't really come for the event per se but for the enjoyment of meeting friends and acquaintances that share the same passion as me. Cosplayers attend events expecting to get their picture taken but it was different for us, because what we asked for was their signature(Of course, we took our photos with them.). We spent the whole day looking for people we know asking for their signatures. It was a very fun experience, it was a first for most of them since not many people actually do that stuff. The smiles on their face when we ask for their signatures was priceless. It was a very fulfilling experience, It was something new for them and for us, as well. We even got to meet one of our cosplay idols(Liui Aquino). Well, that's about it. We basically just had fun with our friends and the day ended with us looking forward to what's going to happen tomorrow and who we will meet.
- Day 2
Now this is the part where it gets a little more fun. We entered the SMX Convention Centre. So what did we do the whole day? Nothing that different from Day 1 except for the fact that we stayed outside the event area for most of the day. Did it hinder our fun? Not really, because it was a time I spent with my friends, so it was really fun. Always remember that having fun does not depend on how much money you spend, or the places you go to but depends on the people you spend it with.
Here's the exciting part of our Day 2 memories. We entered the event area near it's closing time, because we know for a fact that stores usually give discounts and offers at that time. Thanks to that, we got to meet Liui Aquino, again. But not as a cosplayer, but an ordinary con-goer. It was great, he was very kind and humble. He fulfilled a lot of request we had and we even got to have a picture with him as a group. But that's not all, what do you know, we even got a signature from the one and only, Joe Inoue. It was probably one of the fondest memory we have about the event.
Well, that's pretty much how my Best of Anime experience went and past. How about you? Did you also attend the event? Or did you stay at home, getting ready for the next big cosplay event? Whatever it is, the only question that matters is "Did you have fun?". That's about sums up my weekend. That's all. Oh! See you at Cosmania on October 4-5, 2014. But if you can't wait that long, there is also an event at SM Manila on September 27 or you could go to SM Megamall on September 27-28. Whatever you choose, there will always be something fun to do. Keep safe and take care. Let's meet each other someday.
To go or not to go? Best of Anime 2014
By : KurisuWell, it is now the day before the event Best of Anime 2014 here in the Philippines but the country now is experiencing a new challenge. Which is the typhoon named Mario, it did bring us a lot of hassle because tomorrow will be the day of the event but as of now there are heavy rains and floods across the country, We are really hoping that this rain would stop by sunset so that everyone will have atleast a little time for preparations. But still the question remains is that to go or not to go? In this kind of circumstances are you still going to the event no matter what?
Who knows? Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow but for me I just hope that all of you are safe and nobody gets harmed or anything else like that. Even if it is the Best of Anime 2014 tomorrow do not forget to pray for our fellow Filipino who's having a hard time because of Typhoon Mario it is now the time to show our patriotism not just as Filipinos but also as Otakus and Weaboos(whatever)! Help whoever is in need and I am sure God will return the favor for you, I hope that the weather tomorrow will be fine so that we can go to the convention safely and with less hassle.
That is all for now bros I will pray for the safety of everyone I hope you will do the same! Stay awesome! See you on BOA if we can!

Shoujo Feels
By : UnknownHi guys. I sincerely don't know the reason why I'm writing this, maybe because I was searching gif pictures earlier about my favorite anime/manga couples, and apart from the reality I was given the authority to do this so yeah, thou shalt not care if I'm doing this hahaha. Anyway as my introductory post, I'll write about my favorite anime/manga couples, yey!! *throws ribbons and confetti*
PS: The girl in the photo isn't Hinata ;) a hint for the twist the mangaka created hahahah hihi :3 ;)
I'll start with yeah. My number 1 couple *drum roll* *badum-tss*
Mary and Seto from Mekakucity Actors~ <3 Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeey
These two are just the definition of adorbs, mufflepuffs, and other cutiepie names that anyone can think of. (credits to the owner of the picture)
Their fanvids, PVs, and anime scenes are just too hard to not to notice. They're just so sweet that destiny will be stripped off from his work.
They are just for each other. Created for the awesome love team that they now are.
2nd favorite couple: Hori and Miyamura <3 <3 (thanks mangafox for the pic)
Anyway I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove how they looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove each other because of who they are, regardless of how miyamura was perceived before by his classmates and regardless of how others deemed Hori as "perfect."
Anyway, three cheers because this manga will have an OVA <3 yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey! I like diiiiied from seeing the news <3 so harteu harteu
Next is..................... Oh yeah oh yeah. I really don't know who to put in this place XD I'm stuck in a decision between my favorite manga couple of all En and Hinata, and another anime couple fave, Chitanda and Oreki. So I'll just put them both in third cos I'm too lazy to create a fourth.
En and Hinata, yeah the pretty boy and the average girl. The usual story that you'll probably read somewhere or everywhere. But too bad their story had a twist. And I'm not here to write about that so yeah just read Usotsuki Lily to see the huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge plot twist. Anyway, these two just give me the best shoujo moments (kilig moments that i have when reading romance manga. They have the chemistry, the love, the romance, the atmosphere, the house, the hands, the eyes, the nose, the life, the soul HAHAHA so yeah. They're just awesome dudes. I love them superbly~ XD HAHA
PS: The girl in the photo isn't Hinata ;) a hint for the twist the mangaka created hahahah hihi :3 ;)
Now, the feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels is strong with this one. I went out of my way to search for these two's picture together cause I don't have one! too bad hihihi
The anime wasn't focused on romance so the two weren't that lovey-dovey in the anime but the subtle gestures and that thought of oreki in the last episode is what makes a maiden's heart go doki-doki so yeah it got me rollin'.
Anyway that's it. I'm probably going to regret writing about this and feel embarrassed after few minutes upon publishing this, but I still want to. So no stahp for me. And I did also mention that this is my way of having an introductory post but I haven't even mentioned my name! well yeah, I assume it is probably seen somewhere in this post but yeah. I'm Toni :) and I'mmmmmmmmmmmm the loli boss of PCH. Till my next post if I'm not too lazy to write one.
